Vietnamese durian retail prices have risen in 2021, reaching 80.000–100.000 VND (US $ 3.47 – 4.34) per kilogram and retail prices at grocery stores and food markets sitting.

However, the wholesale price range for Vietnam Durian is between only 20.000 – 45.000 VND per kilogram (US $1 – 2). Therefore the famers who plant durian tree lost a lots of money in 2021 crop.
