VIETNAM DURIAN PRICE IN 2021
Because of COVID-19 epidemic , the price of durian fruit in the Mekong Delta is declining as traders have stopped buying the fruit to export to China in light of its stricter control on agricultural imports. Therefore the durian fruit is getting up and down daily and monthly.
Vietnamese durian retail prices have risen in 2021, reaching 80.000–100.000 VND (US $ 3.47 – 4.34) per kilogram and retail prices at grocery stores and food markets sitting.
However, the wholesale price range for Vietnam Durian is between only 20.000 – 45.000 VND per kilogram (US $1 – 2). Therefore the famers who plant durian tree lost a lots of money in 2021 crop.
